I do remember sending out details of the "T" class some time back, so it could well be me.

Hi Fred,
How are you doing? You sent me some details about 2 years ago when I first started. I gave you some credit in my description. You are "the Fred on this site" that I mentioned. I haven't put the detail on the sub yet as 3D printing leaves striations all over the surface which need to be sanded off. This will also remove detail like plating and rivets so I'll add these later. Plans and photos differ quite dramatically so this will be a "generic" T class. I'm trying to think of a name beginning with a "T". HMS Timewaster is top of my list at the moment. Hope that you're keeping well.

Hello everyone,
I'm currently 3D printing a model British 3rd series T class sub from the 1940's. It has taken me a couple of years so far, mainly because of false starts using unsuitable filaments, machine breakdowns grandchildren etc. I already have the Robbe U boat and made it to the same scale. It will eventually be about 7 ft long. I didn't realise how much bigger these were than the German boats. My 3D printer will print section about 9 in high so this is made of many sections welded together. Many thanks to Sean Kav for the original model which I have enlarged and modified and to Fred on this site for providing me with much information. There is still a long way to go as I need to sand out the weld marks, add plating detail and sort out the inner water-tight container for the electrics. The stern is very narrow so rudder controls are giving me a headache. If anyone is thinking of having a go I am more than happy to say where I went wrong.
