Looking for Build instructions of a Krick Model II

Hello Kevin
I havn`t seen much on Ebay for ages that has tempted me there used to be lots, or is it me. I would have thought that a hull would be easier to acquire than that beautiful steam plant, what about a showy Lake District gentlemans launch.
I look forward to seeing what you end up putting it in.

Thanks Chris. I picked it up on eBay along with an unbuilt Stuart 501 boiler and what I think are most of the Krick fittings for a Patricia steam launch. Wish I had the hull to go with it!

Thanks Rick,
I have run this on steam and it runs well. I just wanted instructions to make sure there were no "model specific" instructions before I tested. I did oil it well with steam oil and ran it slow and steady for about 10 minutes. All seemed well with only slight leakage around the throttle/direction control valve.

Good find Keven. Hopefully a member may have what you are looking for. If you have an air compresses you can check the running of the engine. Can also check the boiler with air. Need to remove all items on the boiler and plug all openings except for the filler opening. Fill boiler with water. Hook the compressor to a pressure valve from the valve then to the boiler. Build pressure above 30 psi and let it sit for time. A sound boiler should hold pressure.

Looking for Build instructions of a Krick Model II

Hello all,
I have recently picked up a Krick marine power plant likely from a Patricia. If anyone can help I am looking for a copy or a scan of the assembly/operating instructions. Attached are a couple of pictures.

Happy Holidays to you all.
