What should I do with these two beauties?

Nice looking models with a classic period look. I would not advise painting, just clean up and keep as original as possible. They would look great on didplay

What should I do with these two beauties?

HI Brian
Really nostalgic looking models.
Clearly from the period you identify and can verify.
If you like them they are worth keeping but I would suggest you insure them as separate items on your house insurance.
Working tin-plate models in good condition, and one with original box, are not that common and could have a high value to collectors.
Probably worth doing a bit more investigation and possibly seeking some professional help - local auction room, Museum or Antiques Road Show if they visit your area.
Thank you for sharing on the site and good luck with whatever you decide 😀

What should I do with these two beauties?

HI everyone, I have just obtained these two beauties, I know their history (from the original owner who had them as a child new) they are 1923 Boats One by Kellner 22" long with a clockwork engine that Is still In working order the other Is smaller make unknown but again 1923 with clockwork motor still working. They are both In original paint that Is worn. The rudders work on a friction bar. Both have a dummy air Inlet that are Identical so they might both be Kellner. Should I keep them to restore myself, keep them and do nothing, sell them now or wait and just enjoy them to sell later, comments please, Brian
