Bilge pump ?

I would like to add to my question about Bilge pumps. that in my RAF style launch, the water ingress problem has stopped
One, as i filled the mainshaft tube with vaselaine, but probably more so, that i sloshed clear varnish around the inside of the hull in all compartments, let it dry, and did the same again,

I now as of today, have NO water ingress at all,

Bilge pump ?

I used a hydro switch and a 3v-6v pump at 3v. Mounted the switch 1/4" above the pump pickup. It comes on when the switch gets under water and goes off when the water is out. So far has worked perfectly.

Bilge pump ?

Hi, Over the years, I have used numerous setups for bilge pumps and water ingress alarms/switches for members in our club, and ultimately to sell.
I had a friend years ago who was quite adept at devising speciality circuits. He made a water sensor alarm which was only size of a large Postage Stamp. He made approx. 20 units before he died, and I still have one left.
I have another modeli g friend who has found a similar unit on- line which can be wired to a small pump and alarm. I still do have a couple Robbe water pumps in stock. And it is also possible to incorporate a windscreen washer pump into the bilge to suck out the evil water.

Bilge pump ?

Hi all

Does any one fit a bilge pump, in their models?, as i seem to be able to get a nice amount of water, but no fish after a 15min blast round the lake, i say nice amount of water, but more like 1/2 a coffee cup worth, but its a pig to get out, so i might have to fit a drain hole, as in dummy exhausts to let it out
