twin brushless Aerokits 46" video with 3 camera angles

Difficult to answer really shaun. My 3foot fireboat is single screw. Look at my huntsman video. it's single screw and goes faster but to achieve that it needs more expensive equipment. I wanted twin screw as I had not done it before. The shaft into the motor was a gamble and it works so no couplings at all. As it was a bit experimental I used cheap motors about 15 quid each. I wanted reasonable escs and reversing ones so spent a bit more on them. Also I wanted it to look pretty so a bit of vanity with twin screw. it would not go this quick as single screw as the Hull being narrow and not a deep v would suffer from bad torque roll without none scale like trim tabs etc. I don't go for run time 15 mins and I get bored! I go for stupidly over scale speed! Paul

Really nice paint job, you could have a shave in the mirror like finish. the performance looks quite good too. Just starting to build the Lesro Models 46 inch Crash Tender I'll be really pleased if mine turns out half as good as yours looks.

Any particular reason for the twin screws as opposed to single? - does the additional expense for two motors and speed controllers and the reduction in running time give that much better performance?

Thanks Alan, I just need to transfer some of the battery weight to the forward cabin, to hopefully get rid of the porpoising at full throttle, or I could back off a bit (nah!)

I am waiting for some different props also, that should help, interesting from the rear view, inspite being well up on the plane, how shallow the rear is in the water

I know Its not In the video section, but thought post here In the forum, as It might be more Interesting here? suprising how good those cheap keychain cameras are, especially the bouncing around they get here!

I recently finished this ebay rescue, It sat In the loft 18 months, then took pretty much a year to complete. Its not yet the finished article, some tweeking required, some battery weight needs moving forward to balance the hull out, and I am waiting for some new propshop props.

Have a look at the video, Its Interesting, any questions feel free to ask 👍
