Cwmbran open day.

Had a great day, some superb models on and off the water.
My old Sea Commander sailed well after a minor incident at the beginning as the prop caught on a submerged stick and the propshaft decided to unscrew itself from the motor coupling, managed to reverse back to shore, then after another modeller lent me a couple of spanners to re-lock the shaft nuts all went fine, even my 3 year old granddaughter managed to use it for 15 minutes without any incidents.
My grandson took his new birthday present Witte Zea tug (purchased from wolfman 2000) for it's maiden voyage and had 2 hours enjoyment, he was complimented on his skill dealing with the wind and choppy conditions and also revelled in telling all that asked about his boat.
Cheers Colin.
Fair winds and calm waters,

Cwmbran open day.

Sorry Colin won’t be able to get there, I’m at the other end of the country. Enjoy, the grandchildren will remember the day for years to come.

Cwmbran open day.

Tomorrow I am taking my grandchildren to the Cwmbran open day, my grandson is taking his new tug and I am taking my dad's old sea commander with its vintage taycol motor.
Hope to see a few of you there.
Cheers Colin.
Fair winds and calm waters,
COLIN.
