HI Alan and Dennis,

Thanks very much for your comments about my reels, I love making them I started back in 1990 and now its my full time job , it takes about 30 hours to make one but I do them in batches so its much easier ,

great reels chris would love a 1915 reel, if you make boats like you do reels they will be the best. when I have saved enough I will be in touch with you about a reel, I have a few centrepins.

HI Alan,

I've not had the chance to open the box Iv been working on my Christmas Fishing Reel orders , but I have been buying lots of gizmos and things to get the Monitors working correctly , I've just bought a servo morph to slow the monitors down, Please have a look at my web site to see what I get up to.

Looking forward to this build zippy, make sure the batteries in your camera are charged.
As for squirting water, I have a tug with two monitors on it, I squirt anyone that gets into range 😁

Fire boat 34 1/2" GRP/Boat kit New Build

HI Alan,
My Kit shack 34" Crash tender Part Kit was Hand delivered today and I must say I am very Impressed with the Kit, I don't think I have ever seen so many Wooden parts in one box , All the parts are so cleanly cut that they will need hardley any prepping for assembly.

Robin at Kingston Mouldings had one of his Crash Tender Hulls in stock so that arrived the other day, The finish on the Hull is to Robins usual high standard, I have already offered up some of the Kit parts to the Hull and things are looking good.

I have bought two minI servos and some small plastic gears to make the Monitors swing around Question are we still allowed to squirt water at the Kids or is that not PC any more.

My thanks again to Darrell, Chris and Robin for getting this project started 👍

HI Zippy

The beam on our Crash Tender is 10.5 so hopefully should all fit quite nicely together.

HI Zippy,

I do believe twinkle was doing the same thing, a search will bring her up Im sure. Have you got the kit sorted out yet as we supplied twinkle with a part kit not including the skins, Our kits are CNC cut so no burnt edges.

Fire boat 34 1/2" GRP/Boat kit New Build

Hi, Im going to build my self a new Fire boat and Im thinking of useing a Kingston grp 34 1/2" raf Crash tender hull with one of the new Laser cut Plywood boat kits so I would have the best of both worlds, I know that I will have to re shape the Bulkheads to fit the cerves of the grp hull but I think It could work and make a very nice scale model . Please can any one tell me If they have tryed this build before and did It work out. Thanks Zippy.
