Does anybody recognize these boats?

Cash,
I like the idea!
It's certainly big enough.....

So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.

Does anybody recognize these boats?

My buddy Larry took a Hobby Lobby home decor skiff and made a working rc boat using a 380 powered outboard. He had to go thru the skiff and seal it, the hid the rc components best he could, added a Barbie for a pilot, and that was it. You could do the same…

I've gotten awesome input on the Chris Craft Corvette, and the KNK Mini Jupiter.
Does anybody have any thoughts on the Skiff?
It seems to be a nice unit, presumably from a kit.
It is about 30" long.

Well, I think I made a good start today.
It wasn't just dust, the boats must have been on display above an oven or something.
There was the same kind of gunky oily film that you get on the exhaust hood over your range, covering every inch of these boats.
Hours of elbow grease later, they are 90% better. They are now to the point that I can start working on them.
Here are some before and after pics.

Cash,
It's under my command.
However, it is going to need a little time in "Dry Dock".
Any info or input you have on the Mini Jupiter is welcome and appreciated.
From the layers of embedded dust, I'm guessing this hasn't been touched in decades.
It seems to be pretty solid, though.

River Rat,
Thanks for the comment about waiting until Saturday.
I made the 150 mi round trip this AM and grabbed them.
He was a standup guy. He said he had 9 others call after me, all offering to pay more.
He said he was a man of his word, and waited for me.
Somebody might have swayed him by Saturday.
They are home safe with me now.

Wow! Thanks for the info Cash!
I just found your post with the build log. You did a great job.
I'm excited to get my hands on this one.
Hopefully the builder put close to your quality build into this boat.

That small cabin cruiser is a KNK Mini Jupiter. That boat was kitted in 3 different sizes, the Mini Jupiter 401 is the smallest. I have one in my fleet, running a small outrunner brushless on 2 lipos. Handles well and is fun to run. I’d get the lot if it were me, those are nice finds.
Here’s a video of mine..

Let me know if you might want a plan. I also have a set of the Sterling fittings, as I probably won’t get around to building this one. You can private message me.

The photo I posted isn’t mine. It is one of my inspirations from the RC Scale Boats Group.
So many ships . . . and so little time . . .

Yeah, I'm a little nervous.
But he seemed pretty upfront.
And .. I did pay for them (albeit, not very much).
He did mark them sold.

Sent him the payment via Zelle ASAP.
Sometimes it pays to be lucky.

Peejay,
It does look an awful lot like the 42' Sterling Corvette!
Thanks

The forty eight inch one looks like a Sterling 42’ Chris Craft Corvette. There is only one in existence, which was a custom version of the 42’ Express Cruiser.

They were listed on FB Marketplace just now.
Stupid low price.
I now own them (won't be able to pick them up until this Saturday)....
I'm hoping I can make something nice out of them.
The big one he says is 48" long.
Any information or suggestions are welcome!
Dave B
PS Yeah I know they need TLC. But that's why I refer my collection of boats as the Island of Misfit Toys ....
