Romanza 6mtr Yacht, unfinished/ hardly started needs a home.
Romanza 6mtr Yacht, unfinished/ hardly started needs a home.
We all learn, hopefully!
I am pleased that the project should find its way to a new and enthusiastic home and not get forgotten in my garage fingers crossed. 🤞

If I didn’t have a backlog of projects, including an old A class, I’d travel up from Plymouth. Though if you don’t find a new home soon I’d be seriously tempted, just hope it finds a new home before my resolve slips.

After insufficient research I decided upon the Graham Bantock designed Romanza, a 6mtr popular 1.532 long yacht.
I have the plans, sufficient cedar, machine cut at 1.2mtr x 9mm x 3mm to build the hull including 4 lengths of 1.8mtr x 9mm x 3mm that have been glued and joined.
The 20 or so frames have been cut and finished and fixed to a solid building board ready for the start of the build.
I have decided against building this model primarily as I have no way to transport it to water and it is rather large
for my play room. The building board has been carefully stored along with the timber planking.
Is there anybody, hopefully close to the East Midlands interested in talking to me about taking this on reasonable price to be discussed.
Best regards and a Merry Christmas ChrisG
