HI Shaun, the damage was worse than I thought, every time I am waiting for glue or paint to dry, I do a bit to it, Ill get there in the end. The next day two of the same boats (blackjack29) had what we call a racing incident, well they actually smashed into each other, damage nearly as bad as mine.
Been trying to get the digging finished at the allotments while the weather holds. So in between building a racing sparrow (yacht) a MaggieM, digging and repairs to fast electric boat, not much done to the fireboat. Started to make portholes on the lathe, but I was not very pleased with them, so I got these

Pot bellied stove, Lathe, what next?
I looked around for a decent second hand lathe but couldn't find what I wanted so I bought a new one (photo) been very pleased with it, tailstock took a bit of setting up, but apart from that it has been good.
That's it, my typing finger hurts now.
