so the rest were wrong before you tried them
I Started with HARBOUR and then started writing down words fitting the clue with A as the second
Letter and LANDING was the only one that I came up with after nearly half an hour
I should have known ?? Two of my boats are only 3ft away from our landing, in the spare bedroom 😀😆😀 😥.
Start by putting in the word you think is correct. Matching the letter count required. The clue simplifies the process as normally there is no clue
When you press enter the letters will change colour.
Green - correct letter in correct position
Yellow. - the letter is in the word but wrong position
Grey. - the letter is not in the word
When you have the correct word all letters will be green

*PS: QotD uses Midnight 'ZULU TIME to update'. Which is the same 'moment in time' anywhere in the world regardless of the the local time.
So who's ahead or behind is irrelevant.*

It seems it’s totally arbitrary the order of members scoring the same. Not based on surname, username, when registered, last online, or anything particularly. Simply however the database happens to retrieve the data.
An order could be put in… but what would make it fair? Rank maybe? 😆

Ok Ross glad it's working again. I was going to put something about the likes bit at the very bottom of the comments page but I had to end my reply abruptly as my glucose meter readings were alerting me to get my meal asap 🤔☺, which I have just eaten. I have been a diabetic for over 66 years!!
I'm not into stopping to make and to eat meals when I could be doing more interesting things like building models ☺ or not so interesting like gardening 😐. There's just not enough hours in the day!! 😀.
if anyone likes some of the posts that I have put on here, I get an email that tells me. When I click on any, it automatically takes me to the relevant website posts ☺.
It's the ones that members don't like that I can't see - thank goodness 🙄 😁.
Wha? U dont want yer lawn trimmed with a sail edger??
(visualize somebody with a electronic sized soldering iron, down on their knees, trimming the edge of the lawn, with a long, heavy duty extension cord, that goes back to the house)
Dream on baby, just don't trim my lawn.
Roy
I had to look up the connection:
An EDGER in Marine world is a hand tool used for trimming and flattening seams in sailmaking. I just use my finger a really sharp box cutter, a fine point 40W soldering iron or a flat iron
