Question of the Day?
If you overlay it with an arrow (you can use any free photo editor like Paint), it's even better.
Someone might say you clearly suggested the answer, and perhaps it would have been better to do it tomorrow, but now a lot of time has passed and almost everyone has responded, so it doesn't matter.
From now on, please don't make mistakes!

He is retired now very busy making G1 model live steam railway engines and I usually pass onto him spare boats and yachts.

Yet, there was one term among the four I couldn't find, or rather, I couldn't find any relevance to the naval field.
Eventually, I found it and understood what it was.
Of course, it wasn't the right answer because I had already identified the correct one, but I wanted to be sure.
Question of the Day?
Although I was familiar with the term in reference to anchors, the first thing that came to my mind was also the electronic test equipment line. I actually own a few!

Fluke are a left-side flatfish with both eyes on the left side of the body. They have a large mouth that can extend beyond its eyes. Females live up to 20 years and weigh about 20 pounds, while males rarely pass 7 years or 5 pounds. Fluke can change their dorsal coloration to camouflage with the ocean bottom.

You can make model boat/ yacht hull too strong as I have recently found out. When you build on a board and hold the frames in place and then plank or skin the hull, there are some very strong tensions with in the framework.
This becomes apparent when the hull is removed from the building board and internal forces resolve themselves and it could 'hog' the deck.
My next constructions will use balsa and obechi and lite ply, and strengthen the hull surface when the hull is removed and checked for accuracy.

As Per the TV comedy programs Allo Allo & Dad's Army. No offence intended.🤔.

"Spud, steel pile that can be lowered to penetrate the bottom to hold a spud barge in position, often deployed at each corner of the barge. Also used to position a dredge - see Dredging#Grab dredgers."
They were also used on sections of the Mulberry Harbours deployed on the D Day landing beaches.
I first heard about them in a docu (History Channel?) about the Mulberries and D Day.
😎

Several of the miners use Spud Barges to dredge for gold on that show.
Whatcha can't learn by watching mindless TV entertainment ......

The Which (UK goods and services comparison magazine, takes no enemies) said at worst A.I. was 54% accurate, you would fail most exams with that score, and 71% which is just about acceptable.

Question of the Day?
Even though I have walked along the canal banks at Castleford, I don't know much about barges 😏☺.

I watched Pearl Harbour, Midway and Tora Tora Tora over these Christmas holidays- Peace and Good Will to aĺl men. Certainly not on the TV 😐😃.
I saw Pearl Harbour get bombed and torpedoed and the Arizona written off three times-but they were all good action films 👍.

Who among you has ever sailed as captain or crew member (sheets) on a cutter?
I haven't.
I've come across a few (much less than the very common and widespread sloops) but I've never had the opportunity to climb aboard one.
Yet I thought the reasoning was similar to that of the sloop.
So once I translated the terms correctly (there's a word that's the key to everything), the answer was quite easy, especially if you've seen it in person.

I worked out the correct answer fairly quickly and while deleting the adverts pressed the adjacent wrong answer and pressed the "are you sure" button before realising that😣😗.
So after called myself an absolute ***** I went to bed in disgust 😕😞😭..
Today's qotd wasn't too bad with a bit of thought..🤔

For the answer with a 21% score, I can only imagine typos, carelessness, or consulting flawed AI. Any reasoning would have led to the correct answer.
For the answer with a 7% score, consider a stronger factor than necessary.

I went for B because I just thought the journey length it would need to extend the shelf life.
Plus the goods have got to spend time on our shop shelves when they get here.
Even the though most of the Banana's are green when they get here, don't know about
the avocados, as I don't like them anyway.
