New to model boats

I had a go at 1/10 electric touring cars for a while good fun but a little repetitive for me and bloody expensive too lol

I've had a few model cars, they we're getting out of hand. Thought it was time to try my hand at something else so I will see how it goes. 😊

That is so true.

You have a second model to work on while the paint is drying on the first one,
You have a third model to work on while the glue is setting on the second one.
One you haven't started, seemed a good idea at the time.
Not forgetting the one on the shelf that some one gave you to refurbish
And so it goes on 😁

On a lighter note model boatbuilding is infectious , Getting out of control at an alarming rate you will soon have models under construction everywhere lol 😁

Nice little model Mike. As this is a wooden kit I would suggest EVO-STIK weatherproof wood adhesive (B&Q) this is what I have used on my fire boat, clean the laser cut burnt edges with a bit of sandpaper before fitting.
DRY fit the bulkheads to the keel and the cabin sides to the bulkheads, this bit is Important, if you glue the bulkheads to the keel from the drawing and they are slightly out, the cabin sides may not fit properly 😭
Hope this helps

HI I am new to the world of model boats, I'm waiting for the delivery of a vintage sea scout kit. I would be grateful of any advice on which adhesive to use and general building tips etc.
many thanks.
