My Aerokits 34" fireboat has the windows between the frame and the structure. As do my Fairey Swordsman and Huntsman.
Hope that this article is helpful. View in my harbour. Best of luck Colin.
Fair winds and calm waters,
COLIN.

Thanks Mike, presumably it will have to be quite thin.

HI they go in between the frame thats the way I put them on my 46in fireboat and the frames go on the side try to get the windows flush with out side.

Perhaps all the bad weather has made them go on holiday to Spain 😁
Mine is the Lesro kit and it also comes with nautical moments 😁

HI Alan, think the experts must have gone into hibernation. Which kit are you building, I went for the KitShack and its giving me a few nautical moments

That's a good question Roger, I haven't got to that stage yet.
What I thought I would do was to cut the Perspex to fit into the window opening and fix with a touch of Canopy Glue.
It would have been nice if the window frames had been a touch smaller than the windows.
I hadn't thought of putting thin plastic between the frame and cabin sides.
Perhaps some of the more experienced fireboat builders will come to our assistance 😁

Need some advice on the best way to Install glazing In windows on a 36'' fireboat, should the plastic go between the frame and cabin side or Inside the cabin, any advice gratefully taken

Roger
