HI Alan,
I have looked into the windows app error. it wasn't indeed working as it should. There's recently been a security upgrade on the website, and I thought I'd covered all the bases! Unlike the other apps (iOS/Android) the Windows one has it's own login screen built into the user interface. This wasn't saving after a successful login. I think I've now fixed that, so do let me know how you get on now.
No need to update the app itself, all changes have been server-side.

I have downloaded the windows app for this site, very nice.
But every time I bring It up I have to sign In, this Is hard when your old, have little fat fingers and can't find your glasses. 😭 Is there anyway to keep It signed In?
