Len, not a physical store. Shapeways allows people to have a virtual store where the "owner" can upload their models plus organize their own pages and indexing. The owner then can adjust pricing by adding their profit to the Shapeways price.

Shapeways does not sell products, but only printing services. If you search for an item (ie "propeller") the list you see is that of products in various stores.

Lew, you say you have a store. Does that mean you have a retail site?

In my "Shapeways " store I changed everything to "not for sale". They have a lousy policy, crummy search engine, and over priced. Has anyone found a decent alternative?

Somewhere on Shapeway I had found turrets for the Dido as well. I will do some digging and try to find the link to post.

The wikipedia article is worth the read. Simply GOOGLE "hms dido on wikipedia" (sans quotes). She fired the last shot of WW2. And the tale of her partial drydocking is significant.

I am named for HMS RODNEY. What a load to bestow on a child, especially grades K-6. Fortunately my Gr6 (elementary school) teacher was similarly named, coming to my defense whilst being bullied. Now my Amateur Radio callsign & car licence plate is VA3ROD😉

hi there

what you need to do is try and find and obtain the drawing from Norman Ough - Norman drew up a set of plans to cover this vessel. They are a bit difficult to get hold of - however, there is an illustration in his book ' The life and ship models of Norman Ough
by Alistair Roach'

If you could enlarge this drawing from the book - it would help you a great deal.

As for fittings, there is a chap who is quite well known, John Haynes, if you find his email address and send him an email. John may help you with bridge fittings - he has helped me a few times - when I built HMS Exeter.

Dad was on her in WW2 and would like to do a model of her. Problem is she had an open bridge and i cannot find any suppliers of the bridge 'furniture' compass voice pipes binnacles tables etc Are these available in either scale as this will decide what i build. Can do all /most of the superstructure by either resin 3D printing of laser cutting brass sheet. Any suggestions advice most welcome

TIA
