New Workshop

Look forward to a visit again, I was there last year with Hoylake club and the Wirral club. I will definitely call in and view the workshop when I next visit, I always was nosy. I like to pickup other peoples ideas, they are usually better than mine.
p.s. I only have a Clark 300m lathe, so am very jealous of the Myford

Yes Max, the visitors to The Fort will be able to see what I am up to and ask questions etc. I have an idea we may have met in the past, probably at NB Lake.....

First metal torturing project will be the winch for the African Queen, which is almost complete, Followed by a nice steam engine, either a Brunel Models Alpha, or a Reeves Borderer.....

I wouldn't get too much work done I'd be too busy sunning myself on the workroom terrace enjoying the view 😁

That's what I call a workshop!

Got the other bench assembled and in place today, all that is needed now is a few shelves and it's good to go. First photo is the location, cool eh?

Looks like its going to be a nice work space. When you've finished you must put a picture up, it will give people like me who are useless at organisation ideas for a good lay out. :-)

New Workshop

HI there folks, I am In the process of expanding my workshop Into Fort Perch Rock In New Brighton, no room at home for my new (secondhand) lathe, so I have aquires a room In the fort, good for me, more space, good for the owner of the fort, as his visitors can 'look at the Idiot making toy boats' Here Is a photo of progress so far, bench erected, a surprisingly strong affair from Machine Mart, I just replaced the top and shelf with 18mm ply. Lathe Installed and leveled up. Todays job to build more bench space......
