1500Kv motor I used International yacht varnish which I heated in a tub of hot water to thin it down to aid application. The photo is a bit rubbish but it’s really quite a nice finish.

I’ve 3/4 built one, it needs the finishing touches but as it runs it’s more fun using it than finishing it! The build was my second model boat and it wasn’t to bad, certainly suitable as a first or second build in my opinion. With a 3s lipo and brushless motor it goes like stink too!
