Figures (as in Crew) to Put on your Models

Hi. I do a range of crew figures but I'm in South Africa.
Shipping would be exorbitant.

I charge 2 Pounds per figure (1:32 Scale) unpainted and 5 Pounds per figure painted.

Definitely look up Holden8702 on Facebook. He does naval crews in all different scales, from different countries, from many different
Eras and conflicts. His name is Luis and he’s never let me down.

Thanks for the prompt reply Pat.
Some of the youngsters in my family enjoy playing fantasy war games at Games Workshop shops (now called Warhammer I believe). There seems to be two sorts of people who shop there, those who want to play the games and those who enjoy painting the figurines (i was one of the latter). there are other sorts of wargamers around. Those who like to re-enact real battles. it's just a thought but it might be worth asking around at these sort of places to see if anyone would be prepared to paint something for you. Hope you get sorted,
best wishes Tim

Tim, thank you for point my inadquacies out - unfortunately age and health problems are getting on top of me these days :-(

I was specifically looking for ready painted figures rather than paidt yourself as I would struggle paunt my own, also I have to say I am not a lover of anything 3D printed although I have to admit people may be OK.

Thank you

I'm sorry if I seem rude Pat, but you have asked this question a few weeks ago and several of us replied where figures are available in many scales in Britain. Also as Steve P has mentioned, it is possible to buy the files of sailors from many countries and periods from CG trader. They often have upto 70% sales. Once you have bought an .stl or obj files there are people on the internet who will print them out as many times or any scale that you want. Prices depend on the amount and type of resin used so as a rule of thumb, the larger the scale the more expensive the figure.
Have you read the replies to your last posting about naval figures?
Best wishes Tim

You could use AI to design the figures and then 3D print them.
🤔
Guess AI does have its uses.
🤣

Pat

I am a novice here and you may already be aware but there are a reasonable number on various print sites such as CGTrader that can be 3d printed and pretty reasonable costs.

Hello Shippers

For those of you that use them, where do you source fugures of men in naval uniform to put on your models, and how much do you pay for them, painted or unpainted ?

I am primiary looking at suppliers in the Uk - I have looked at Mountfleet but their range is quite limited and they are very expensive, Cornwall boats just do historic character that are unpainted.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks
