More crap

The reason that I have been researching U Boats is that I have 2 in the pipeline. One is a fibreglass hull which I am developing a microprocessor control unit for. This is a tabletop job so I work on it in the winter when my workshop is too cold. The other is a Revell 1/72 kit which will I will get too at some stage. I did have another one, a Krick U25 but someone made me an offer I could not refuse so I sold it.

The u boat U570, type V11C was captured and put back into the RN as HMS Graph.
Last year I was given the transmitter of a model of this sub to sail round the Kirklees Model Boat Club lake while the owner went for his lunch 😊. I didn't dare dive the boat as he didn't give me good enough instructions on how to bring it back up and I was too busy making sure that I didn't collide with anyone's boats.
He had the boat painted in a very light grey??. 🤔🤔.

Now part of the German Shipyards consortium.
