Thanks for your response.

I mailed a recorded delivery letter of cancellation under the consumer contratct regulations and this was received by them on 19th Novemeber.
I have proof of delivery for that letter but no response or refund has been forthcoming.
My only resort would be to pursue a claim through the Scottish Sheriff Courts but the costs and time required are unwarranted in my opinion due to the sum involved being relatively small.
Just thought that a heads up to other buyers would be a good idea as they do not appear to be particularly consumer orientated when problems arise in the supply of items ordered.

Sorry to hear you are still having problems. They have advertised in Marine Modelling Jan2015 and the contact details are the same as on their web site. I did notice that they have extended holidays and may not be open from mid Dec to 12 Jan. Also noted they are open 10am to 3pm so may not answer calls outside this timeframe. The e-mails should be answered however. They do not indicate which model shows they are attending but will be at Alexander Palace on the 17th. They usually attend the E Port spring show in March at the Boat Museum.

I chose to pay on receipt and made payment once the goods arrived. Delivery was not quick and I believe it was two weeks after I ordered. Perhaps their order and delivery system is better structured towards this method as they are a manufacturer rather than a retail outlet.

I hope you manage to get a satisfactory solution.

I would advise being extremely careful when orering online from this company. My first order has still not been fulfilled and I unfortunately paid in full at the time of ordering. Their contact telephone number does not accept incoming calls. All e-mails, although receipted as delivered go unanswered. Attempts to cancel the order and obtain a refund under the distance selling regulations have also gone completely Ignored. They appear to be slow in delivering but, should anything go wrong, my experience is that they simply do not respond to any communications whatsoever. 😟

I ordered several items exactly a month ago and received them this morning. Trouble is when the order hadn't arrived I just went to my local modeling shop and bought what I needed, because I couldn't contact them by phone or email! I assumed they didn't really exist. Naturally they can have their glue back now, as it's no use to me now. > 😟

I have dealt with them previously and did not have a problem. This time however I am unable to obtain any information that I have requested by e-mail such as date of dispatch and carrier so that I may check at my end to determine whether the items have gone missing or are not yet in the mail. Second order has arrived but the first order placed several days earlier has not. The only information that they have so far provided was that they were both packed on the same day so one would assume that they were probably also dispatched at the same time

I have to say that I do deal with several companies who are really geared to dealing with bulk orders but in every case I have found them extremely helpful and very efficient at meeting my requests.

It is just the lack of communication from this supplier that is frustrating me - especially the fact that their telephone contact number does not accept incoming calls. Exactly what is it meant to do then??

I have dealt with this company. They attend several shows across the country but you can also order direct. They are a manufacturing company and the ordering process can take some time. I ordered on-line and my order arrived about two weeks later together with an invoice which I paid by card.
I suspect they are more geared towards industrial supplies and the hobby supply side is perhaps only looked at when convenient. The glue is excellent as you would expect from one of the UK's major manufacturers.

Is anyone else having problems whith this supplier? I am awaiting an order which may have been mislaid In the mail. All efforts to contact them are proving fruitless. They do not answer e-mails and the telephone number given on their website does not accept Incoming calls. The latter appears particularly pointless as It Is of no use whatsoever.
