Yup - I loved Windsor Davies as the Battery Sergeant Major in “It Ain’t Half Hot Mum” and he had a really good supporting crew with him too including Don Estelle and Melvyn Hayes.

He died in 2019 aged 88 in France where he lived with his wife of 62 years and is sadly missed as an actor and a really good bloke!

And who can remember this motley crew ?

This is my answer to all the Snowflakes out there

So if a person falls overboard you should ask them what their preferred pronouns are before you call …. overboard, that way you offend nobody.
Please note that if I fall overboard you can shout MAN Overboard and rescue me I won’t be offended just relieved that someone is aware that I am busy drowning.

So---What are we supposed to call a lifebuoy (A ring shaped buoyant object designed to be thrown to a "person" in the water to help them stay afloat and prevent them from drowning) when someone shouts "MAN OVER BOARD" 🤔🤔🤔 😐😐.

That sounds about right.
This country, and others, has been allowed to get this bad, by corrupt lawyers who will take on any case they think they can make money from, and a pathetic, dishonest government. None of them seem to have a back bone, to stand up to people and say, this is how it is, lump it, or like it.

What a load of bollox! It even says toward the end that MOB is still acceptable to raise the initial alarm but then you change to "person in the water". By the time you say "goodness me there's a person in the water" the poor bugger will probably drown"!

I think not I have changed my ways!

If I drop something heavy on my toes I do not say "f*****g H*l B****d S^^t" any more. I delicately hold my foot and say "Oh! dear, I do wish I had not done that". Then I add the above expletives to ease the pain!

At my age certain things are not going to change!!!!!
