There is a bind button, on the side of the RX, switch the power to the tx, put power on to the rx, it will flash, press the side of the rx, it will stop flashing, it will then be binded. Hope this helps.

Sounds like the receiver is not bound to the transmitter, look in the instructions, there may be a very small button to press and hold, or it needs a binding plug, not used Planet but this is how the other makes are linked to the Transmitter.

I was advised to get shut of old transmitter.so I bought a planet 2.4 . Plus an extra receiver. I cannot get the extra receiver to operate.can anyone help please?
