The Tarpon was part of a Veron kit with a f/g hull which as you say is available from Kingston.

Copies of the drawings for the kit are available fron the designers son Colin Smith. He can be contacted by email at (Email Removed - PM Only)

The plan was £8 postage at the start of 2014

I think its the same hull that is now made by Kingston Mouldings

The model I showed was plank on frame from a Model Boats Plan. I have copied the hull and shaft details and attach a photo which may be of some use. Good luck with the build

Nice boat Dave , 😊 but I meant the old Veron Tarpon had a fibre glass hull and they did a pilot boaat with same hull.I missplaced a lot of my early boats drawings in several house moves they may have even been water damaged to long ago to remember. 💭

Welcome to the site.
A fellow club member has a Tarpon and may even have the original Plan. I attach three pics of his model, but it does not show the shaft detail you require. Weather permitting we will meet at the lake tomorrow and I will possibly be able to photo the detail on his model or borrow the plan so I can scan and send you the details.
