@GARTH
The problem is solved using this method
1 I shut off the email sending on the site
2 close the window
3 Reopen the window and put the button on "on" and now I receive the mail
Unfortunately when I click on the link in the mail and especialy the first one "Read and reply" the page is blank absolutely nothing

@LewZ Point taken. My young upstarts statements was not directed at Stephen but at the government web sites that I have to deal with.
So Stephen I do apologies. I do appreciate the efforts you put into the site. I don't have a problem navigating the site.

@LewZ Your comments are right on. The improvements Stephan crafted are huge improvements. When a glitch is discovered he quickly addresses & fixes them.
Give yourself some time +pressonregardless+. I’ll wager that what seems foreign to you at the moment will eventually become routine. It’s at times frustrating learning a new system (try programming a Taranis TX) but once mastered you will find the results more than justified the effort. Keep at it! 💪

WTF? Sure, there will be some glitches now and then. However, Stephan has done an outstanding job with the new web site. Take it from me, I have been "tinkering" (compared to Stephen) with web sites since my first one in 1997. Other than the few tweaks needed, there is nothing wrong with the new web site. As it is said, "_+you can't teach an old dog new tricks+!_"
For instance, I am creating this "Post a Reply" right now. I have a much larger text box to work within with text editing features (bold, underline, etc.) not available before. Adding file is much easier . Putting title under the respective photos is new. I could go on and on and on,..... but complaining about this site and wanting to go back to the old site is like saying "I don't want this new high frequency RC setup. I want to go back to my old gear where only a few people can run their boats at on time."
How in the h**l do you navigate web sites these days? Maybe some need to take a computer course at the local library and _sit there with the five-year-old's_.
*The new model-boats.com site is one of the best, if not the best, hobby site yet. Keep it up Stephen.* Don't go back to a medieval site. Perhaps, if someone has the time, how about creating a short video on "_navigating Model-Boats.org website for Dummies_."
Sorry if I am too rough on the few of you you, but Stephen does not deserve this criticism for his hard work. Lew
*BTW* ("by the way" for you who know what this means), the "hamburger menu was designed for small screen like used on cell phones to help navigate. I also use a PC so I don't see the "Hamburger" nor chopped liver here.
Another BTW - I would not call Stephen a "young upstart". I am calling you out *_Personreguardless_*. I might be wrong, but it looks like Stephen created the original web site (founder) some 20 years ago (when he was 16). I think you owe Stephen an apology.

I'm not seeing hamburgers, but the site is going to Chopped Liver, Sorry. I do a lot of transactions online, I hate when some young upstart has to revamp the site, which requires another learning curve. If it Ain't Broke Don't fix it!
I'm running Down Wind I don't want to Adjust my Sails HA HA !

@Alain I'm getting e-mails & you may have shut off e-mails on their web site & It's so nice not getting reminders to answer the question due to the fact I never subscribed to question of the day on the new website nice .

@Chum444 you may see the full desktop page on an iPad, with it being a large screen. The hamburger symbol is only visible on smaller screens and it'll be in the top left. Essentially it displays the left side bar menu. In your case, visible anyway 👍

Although I was not a fan of the new Model Boats Website layout when I first saw it, I am now getting to like it more and appreciate that there are still some on-going changes that are being made to make the site easier to to use.
I now find it very easy to upload pictures from my MAC computer and I have also noticed that the newest contributions to any of the threads that I have been reading now display the latest contributions first.
This was reversed when I first contributed anything new on this new format Model Boats site with the oldest (first) contribution displayed at the top and the newest contributions several pages later at the end.
Both options will have their supporters, but I prefer to see the newest contribution to any thread first - but it was good to see that the oldest contributions are still available and that they can be still be accessed.
I will get used to the different "look" of the site (in time) and I can see that this is a much more powerful operating system that may have enough capacity to display all of the previous content. I am aware of some complaints about previous material no longer being able to be accessed from the old site, so maybe this new version will no longer have to "clip" and allow full access to all the material as this can be very helpful on some of the build and technical threads were problems and their solutions have been discussed.
The new site is better. Thanks for the upgrade!
Bob.

I believe the key to maneuvering around the new model-boats site is the "*Hamburger* *Menu*" icon. (Three horizontal lines it the top left corner.) _This_ _is_ _commonon_ _on_ _sites_.
__
Select that and it should get you to almost any feature on this site. If anyone can't handle this then ask a 6 year old kid to show you (unless the kid lives in a hut in a remote village on the headwaters of the AmazonRiver).
Come on guys, I'm 82 and find this easy to navigate. Easier than a 4 channel transmitter.

Hhager,
I’m with you on this one.
Is there any chance we can get the old layout back?
The way the new site is structured really makes it harder for me to follow along and participate properly.

It will take a bit of time to navigate Web Site when time permits as long as I don't do the question of the day.I like not getting E-Mail reminding me to do the question.Besides I use AI to answer questions too much and that feels like I'm cheating 🙂
