I was by myself trying to operate and videotape and only got two videos. I have yet to put it on a pond or lake, but in the small swimming pool it rode well with limited rock n roll. I am always sensitive to how a model rides in the water.
You can see the pool has a strong circulation current that is flowing in to the path of the model. It’s strong current caused the model to rock back n forth.
The model has a three bladed prop which drives it faster than a two bladed prop which in a crowded model boat environment could be seen as a benefit to avoid a collision.
These vessels were powered with 2 cylinder engines which produced a steady loud clanking sound and were not fast.
My model speed will be kept appropriate to this type of vessel.
