@Ronald Hi Ron. You’re absolutely right. Blackshoe’s work is that of a fine craftsman. He’s a friend of mine who I first met at a fun sail in Kennebunk, Me. We’ve met a couple of time to sail in Scarborough, Me since we had to change venues after the pond in Kennebunk became overgrown with aquatic weeds. He has a phenomenal backyard pond with a scale marina he built.

Doesn't need to be pointed at both ends, just needs a rudder post to hang the rudder from. My Fisherman 27 has a round stern as the hull is based on a lifeboat.

I think Peter's suggestion was a good one and could be easily adapted. Scratch building is probably the way to go though.

The Norden has the wrong rudder. I need the rudder to be attached to the stern post, which requires the hull to be pointed at both ends.

I asked Blackshoe to share the photos with his friends at Bath, Maine, Model Boat exhibit about their thoughts. They all said it was do able.

Here, Tim is, talking with a fella about the display. Tim’s work is fantastic!

Those are some beautiful little vessels! I can certainly understand why they've caught your attention.
I know exactly what you mean about collecting ideas and pictures while waiting for the right frame of mind to actually start another project.
😄 Sometimes that's half the fun!

I hope you do give it a go eventually.
Judging by the projects you've shared before, I'm sure whatever you build would turn out beautifully.
And besides... we model builders always seem to find room for just one more project, don't we? 😉

I saw these on a web search while toying with the concept of trying to make one. Of course some of you know that I often look 👀 but don’t always follow through, still under the right frame of mind, I just might give it a go.
