HI there, I agree with Mark in all my experience that epoxy is very secure and sensible for most applications.

I have also used a contact adhesive which works on most surfaces too.

HI Mate

Ruff up the area that the fittings are going, (just enough to remove the gloss) I then use 5 min epoxy, gives a little working time. Have used medium cyno, one drop on the bottom, but little working time, it tends to be quick.

Could use thin cyno place the fitting then put a drop at the edge of the fitting and allow it to flow under to make the bond. (fitting must be a good fit to the deck curve)

Brass Fittings

I have a selection of Brass fittings for my Sea Queen.(Bollards,Fairleads etc)
The Boat has been painted and lacquered.
My question Is,what type of adhesive should I use for this job.
