HI Coley,

What kind of advert do you want to place? There is a for sale section in the forum. I'd recommend creating a thread there along with the details and photos of what it is you're selling.

beam trawler ?

HI coleybloke
Sorry you have not received the help you were seeking.
We have many members who all have their own particular areas of interest in model boats and there are members who model trawlers either form kits or scratch built.
The description of your model was interesting but without a name or picture I suspect many, me included, were unable to relate to your model to give advice.
If you are able to post some pics and perhaps elaborate on what sort of restoration you have in mind (will it be for static display or perhaps to sail) we may be able to offer some help and advice.
I hope you will feel able to give us another chance to help but whatever you decide wish you good luck in the restoration

beam trawler ?

I have recently acquired a model beam trawler and think It may have some of the superstructure missing. there Is no name on the boat....only F71 on the liferaft strapped on the cabin roof. Its 70cm long x 26cm beam. the masting supports that run from cabin roof main mast are missing. there Is a lovely metal winch on It as well as some nice detail on the boat. the cabin Is forward, winch and mast middles. motor/prop fitted. I would love to have a go restoring etc. any Info will be greatly appreciated. there Is also a seated bearded skipper sat In cabin steering her...probably would stand about 10cm or so tall, so I would think a 2/3 man crew. I can provide pics.........
