The model railway people,s are 1/32nd Ogauge, and the model truck guys use 1/20th, 1/32nd with a slight packing under the figure would be ok, or 1/20th with the same size weapons would not look out of place

Can anyone help me with my problem, I am building a A.S.R. vessel in 1/28th scale, I now find I cannot source figures or weaponry. I know I can build weapons etc but not figures. Question, do I use 1/24 or 1/32 scale people or is there some secret supplier that members know of?
