Everything I asked for, rigging cord to die for, Japanese rigging shears, a scale model galvanised bucket kit with photo-etched detail(!!!) and the most beautiful stanchions. 2 ball for my scale, but no matter, they will look superb on "Vanity" with a bit of cable run through the balls. And the cheapest brass strip I have ever seen (for deck trim, once plated, on classic speedboat models).
I repeat my warning that anything you require, I would get now, as he may run out and several lines will not be repeated, at any price.

I have just made an order by e-mail and paid by Paypal. His attention is superb. I had to ask if he'd forgotten anything , he was so cheap. Or rather, inexpensive, for his quality is superb. I just found my last order tucked inside the Marblehead, so I'll have doubled up, but what a pleasure to deal with. he used to do special timbers. hence the name, but no longer as his doctor advised against it. What a shame, but understandable. Wood dust can be very dangerous. One reason my cabinet maker granddad always scraped, he never sanded furniture.

So, gentlemen all, Modelling Timbers is my recommendation of the decade!

Yes I have checked out the website there are some good fittings on there great information for a future build.

I rarely buy anything as I'm tight as a duck's rectum, but I have and do buy from Modellingtimbers. The prices are almost unbelievably low and the quality so high you wonder how it is made these days.
