Your motorboat looks great! The boat sits nice and rides well in the water. A cabin cruiser is exactly that, a cruiser, with the ability to get from point A to B comfortably.

I did actually purchase a couple of drill motors when I started the build ( always ahead of meself) then, looking at Youtube models etc started to think they wouldn't be man enough.

Cost of brushless kit plus Lipos is eye wateringly expensive and, like you, I'm not going to sail it that often of for long.

I'm not really a passionate "Model Boater" just always wanted a Vosper Fire Boat and, when I retired, had the time and kit to build one.

I think I might follow your example.

BTW, you say it "really moves" does the bow get out of the water ?
