Deans Marine Crash Tender

Thanks for the welcome Peter 😊
As I said, I'm not much of a builder as I don't have the patience, or indeed the space to have a workshop, I am limited to the dining table in the front room and so far have only managed to build a Robbe Jet SkI and put a couple of kit yachts together. I'm working on an MFA Spearfish at the moment, but most of this has been done in the garden shed due to having to finish the fibreglass sections.
Most of my 18 boats I have bought already built as second-hand, or new but requiring only an hour or two to put together. My main enjoyment comes from actually sailing with the other members down at the park, having a natter and enjoying the camaraderie we share.
I have several PT type boats and have always liked the Fireboats and Tenders, hence my post, it's interesting to hear what you say about the kit though......hmmm.
Cheers

HI nice to see you on hear, if you want to have a try at building one do as I did, buy just a hull (I got a second) but they do sell good ones and make a plasticard superstructure, its a simple box job I can prob send you a template of the hard bits, and fittings are available, there are a lot of 34" aerokit boats about on ebay a bit bigger and there are a lot about and easy to restore of get one that is ready to sail , the reason I suggest this is that off the deans boats I have seen very few for sale and most have been built to a very poor level because of the system used on the superstructure.

Does anyone have a nice one of these boats for sale? I'm not much of a builder I'm afraid, more of a Sunday morning sailor 😛
