I use a planet T5 with the standard (non marine) receivers in all my fleet, I think its six rx's I now own, its been 100% reliable throughout..

however!

I use Spektrum in all my aircraft and heli's as most of the ready to fly stuff has built-in spektrum compatible rx's

I would with hindsight have chosen spektrum over the Planet system for my boats as there is so much more available for a lot less money. I am in fact going to equip all future boat projects with Spektrum.

spektrum compitaible receivers are available for ÂA£5.99 off the internet compared to ÂA£15 each for the Planet items.. thats nearly 3 for the price of one!

hI chrislang yes go for the planet radio have used them in boats, tanks, cars and had no problems at all, you can not go wrong with this set
