Hi Steve, just try it in a normal post, NOT via the video gallery!
The + sign is then in the box to the right of the text window ----->>
If the file isn't too big you will see the 'Media File' icon pop up after the yellow bar indicating loading progress has got to the end.
If the bar is finished and there is still no icon then the file is too big 🤔
Cheers, Doug 😎

Hi again, had a good look, there doesn't seem to be a way of adding an upload other than a youtube link (no + sign on the right), not to worry..
Hi Doug, I will give it a second look, it shouldn't be a large file due to it done on a phone. Thanks.
Test video!
Hi ST, it can be done directly if it's not too big a file. Don't know where the limit is! I suspect around 20MB. See attached video of a test of my renovated Taycol motor.
Just Left click on the '+' button which will open Explorer.
Go to the vid file you want to upload and click 'Open'.
The vid should then appear as a 'Media' file in the box to the right of your post.
To view the vid Left click the icon then 'Download' in the top left corner. Windows then ask if you want to open it or save it.
If the video is too large you have to go via You Tube.
You can also put the You Tube link into a post, example - a video of the sea trial of my Sea Scout-

Cheers, Doug 😎
PS: after mine there is a great vid of an enormous LCT with two RC Sherman tanks on board!

I have had a look at uploading a video, not sure of how, it's asking for a youtube address, can I upload direct from my PC?
thanks for any reply.
