Hi Charlie
The motor is a Hobbyking 3639-1100kv, 60Amp car ESC, 5800mah 3S Lipo and a 37mm CNC 3 blade prop.
A 3639-750kv would have been better, but, I had the motor spare.
Still working out the balance point and the rudder setup as the boat is bow bouncing at speed(well over scale speed). if I move the balance point forward the boat trips in the turns by digging in the bow.

These are the items I finished up with:

2 x ZIPPY Compact 2200mAh 2S 35C Lipo Pack
2 x Turnigy AquaStar 2842-2800KV Water Cooled Brushless Outrunner Motor
HobbyKing Boat ESC Programming Card
2 x HobbyKing 50A Boat ESC 4A UBEC

Only further comments could offer are the motors would be better at less the 2800KV, the ESCs could be better with a higher rating. Everything works well together though. The centre shaft has a 550 style brushed motor with MTroniks ESC.
Will be interested in your experiences as this is a challenging model. Just glancing over my blog, it covers most things.

Sorry for delay in reply. I replied to your email some days ago from my outlook. I was just returned as undelivered. I am sorry but I do not have the CD. The kit was inherited. I sold it because it was beyond my skill level. I hope you can get a CD replacement. Sorry about that.

Hello Robert, I need your phone number for the courier. Please can you email it a.s.a.p.? I had a shock with the couriers the lowest I could get was Just under £100. Don't worry I will take care of it. Apparently, it is classed as oversize. I know speedline charged £20 I guess he has a special business rate.
