After enquiring as to the cost of shipping this model to the USA, I'm sorry to say that the cost would be prohibitive and it might be best if you could source a similar model stateside.

I am unsure as to the cost of shipping this item to the USA as I normally would be asking the buyer to collect in person.
I think that this model would need to be professionally packed for the journey, and can only ask that maybe you have knowledge of a suitable shipping company or failing that maybe someone here in the UK who could forward it to you with minimal (if any) damage to the model.

hello to anybody, looking for the best setup engine wise for my vic smeed telectra. I'm very old school and like the idea of the mfI power pack with the old fashioned mechanical speed controller. I've never had a boat on the water yet, so I would appreciate any comments. many thanks . keith.

Got any pictures of your model and the room inside her ? I am old fashioned too but I advise an electronic speed controller (ESC) less hassle. There are plenty out there I use Electronize brand. Power supply kinda moved on from Ni-Cd's (which I still use ) to metal hybrids (Ni-MH) and now theres Lithium polymer (Li-Po) batteries. I think there is a write up in the site about all of this. Motor and prop are an individual choice as well unless recommended by the model manufacturer
