restoration Info on crash tender

HI les
Yes looks like an Aerokits model. Did it have an Ic engine fitted, usually means lots of gungy stuff inside and a pretty mangled propshaft and tube. There are several posts on this site detailing how others restored their models, including details of masts. it is usually a good idea to cover the outside of the wooden hull with tissue or glass cloth finished with resin to keep the water out. A good coat of sanding sealer inside should protect the wood from moisture - they are quite wet boats! Good luck with the restoration, but do have a look at the many posts on this site to avoid any mistakes.

HI les
Welcome to the site. The original makers of the RAF Crash Tenders were Aerokits in the early 1960's (approx). Several other suppliers have been on the scene since so it would help if you could provide a picture of your model to help with identification. There are many pictures of Crash Tenders on this site and lots of details and pictures of models both during and after restoration so you should be able to find what you require.
Good luck with the restoration, and looking forward to seeing some pictures.
