Sorry about the typographical error, guys. The model is indeed 50cm long. Does anyone have experience of the Graupner outboards? Some seem to have brushless motors so should have some oomph.

Unfortunately they have become collector's items. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Kyosho-Tamiya-MITSUWA-Model-A-175-Johnson-Outboard-Motor-For-RC-Boats/153284464131?hash=item23b0774e03:g:4VMAAOSwV3hb9xiz:rk:1:pf:0
You may get lucky on ebay. Note that these motors will rarely provide much power.
Young at heart 😉 Slightly older in other places.😊 Cheers Doug
I have acquired an old 50cm wooden model boat which requires a vintage style electric outboard motor. I am finding sourcing a motor very difficult. I would welcome advice. I am willing to take a second hand motor if anyone has one.
