That looks like a complicated set up. I'm just about to start making a simple boiler to power a small twin V, so sorry I can't help with any identification. but its an interesting project.

The boiler arrived. I need to remove fittings in order to take the boiler cover off. I managed a few photos through the chimney. The boiler case measures 22 X 22cm square and 25cm high. There are two boilers in the case, plus a plethora of tubes. There are two gas burners with a gas regulator which is controlled by boiler pressure.

Thank y. It is still on its way to me. When it arrives I'll take some better photos.

It looks like a Yarrow or a Backstaffe type, a peek under the cladding would be a help.
If it don't fit, use a hammer to make it fit....

Hi. My name is John, and I am a keen collector of model steam engines. I apologize for joining this forum and immediately asking a question. I hope I can be forgiven.

I have recently purchased a marine plant because I wanted the engine, which is I believe to be a Stuart Sun. The plant comes with a boiler which is somewhat similar to a Stuart Mendip. Can anyone shed any light on what it is please?

Thank you.
