Shame about the show Warrant.
Guess it's the same old story:- little or no turnover - no repeat show appearance.
In that respect we are all responsible: we buy online (cos we're too lazy to get off our b**s) so local shops go - so we buy online ...
Same with the show traders😐
"a 1/100 scratch built Bismarck in stainless steel"
Ye Gods and little fishes😮 What sort of masochist gives himself such a punishing task!?
Re Clara-
Full name Clara May, built 1891, a coastal trading ketch.
There were three of this type built somewhere in the West Country apparently.
There's a book on the three ships which you can buy, or find a library with a copy, here-

Have fun with her👍
Wishing you a peaceful watch Warrant.
I see that Lt. Marky and Chiefs Nerys and ChrisF have also reported aboard and that the Commodore is available👍 so the ship's in good hands and the Admiral can sleep soundly 😊
BTW Warrant: let's not stand on ceremony - just call me Admiral or Fleet 😁😂
G'night All, 😎💤💤💤
Just found some more Clara May info
"The Clara May was built at Plymouth harbour and launched in 1891. It was a typical west coast of England trading ketch which could enter and easily manoeuver in all kinds of harbours for loading and unloading of merchandise directly on the pier. At first it carried a polacre rigging (?) which was later changed to a ketch rigging, by which name it is known. In 1926 its rigging was reduced and it had a 2 cylinder 50 HP semidiesel (?) engine installed. The Clara May remained in service till 1953."
Maybe Nerys can explain what poleacre rigging is? I ain't got the foggiest!
