As Corporal Jones would say "Dont Panic" I have just received a letter from the Uk Gov saying my pension will not be affected. I live in Portugal. Also passport just renewed and that will be ok too.

Regarding dual citizenship Doug, my brother -in -law who was from a little village near BERLIN, had dual citizenship.
I used to take him every year to some building in Piccadilly Manchester, to keep up his British citizenship. Strange thing was, he got a pension from the German government, for his years in the SS, he also then got a pension from the British, for his years working in the aircraft factory in Chester,(think it was BA) probably wrong!
the point is, he got a larger pension from Germany, than he got from Britain!!! wierd eh....

Will UK passports marked 'European Union' become invalid overnight?
Will the 'Rathaus' (you're so right there👍) pay for the hundreds of thousands of replacements?
My sister has already asked me if I have applied for German citizenship and my GF is wondering if dual citizenship is possible!

are a little late in life, to have these kind of problems,
but here in the UK, all the motorways have signs saying check your documents if travelling abroad, as from the 31st October. The idiots in the rathaus, (perfect word in English!) are selling the UK down the river, the pound is devaluing daily, where will it end?

Hi Peter,
Pension should be the least problem as they are sent worldwide, i.e not just EU.
Also for me it is only about a quarter of my total UK company German pensions anyway.
Comes from having worked here for 35 years. Others who emigrated on retirement might have a different situation🤔 Mouldbuilder will be finding that out when he moves to Hungary!!

PS I don't like the idea of Brexit either😠 It's going to cause guys like me a lot of problems and time wasting visiting various German authorities. Apparently I will have to be 'Retitled' as they put it if UK crashes out! Plus new Passport and driving license needed. Both state European Union! 🤔 Don't suppose Boris will reimburse us for those ☹️

Nice riverboat! I saw this on YouTube a bit ago, thought y’all might like it.

I suppose with the shallow draft it would be like a large floating box catching the wind from any direction ,lovely model smoke looks really realistic.👍

I believe he has put a weighted keel on Martin, but the wind was really bad on Wednesday, perhaps not the best day to sail such a boat.😐
