I'm building a 1/12 canel boat, need to find a crew, i'm having difficulty in finding them, looked at dolls house figures and unfortunately they are not appropriate

lock down build 2 (after the Thames barge )
still lots to do as waiting for prop and shaft, rudder to arrive. this is held together (just) with hope will have to glue when parts arrived then the fun will really start

Sarik Hobbies do a plan for a 70ft. Working Narrow Boat. That would be as typical canal boat as you could wish for. Hope that helps.

That's quite impressive Jacko, but Sidley is looking for plans. No doubt you or I or anyone knowing narrow boats could manage perfectly well, but Sidley, living in Oz can't nip down to the Grand Union or somewhere to look at one.

I think Model Boats Magazine, UK publication of course, published an article on building one complete with plan about three years ago. Cornwall Model Boats supply a plan of a narrow boat pleasure boat called Invictus of Allington, might be same boat. I'm sure there are a lot more but can't think of them offhand.
