I have been off of the forum for awhile and so went back over some of the posts and found Martin's new build in this post .
The kit looks like it will take some time to build good to hear it is something you never thought to get and that it is a kit you have wanted yes please post a build log

Altho this is a plastic kit I will do my best to make it interesting.
I now have a few small thing's in mind that i hope to do to make this a little bit different but not to change the main look of the Submarine.

WOW!! what a Birthday/Christmas surprise that was.

As I am someone that just about scrapes by on a pension you could imagine my surprise when i received such a kit.
I think i am still in shock!
This kit has just been a dream for me and i know i would never ever be able to get one unless i won the lottery.
In the past i have scratch built a lot of my models using whatever i could lay my hands on, So making a proper kit is going to be fantastic i can't wait to make a start on it.
I will have to think about how to do this assembly log as the last thing i want to do is bore everyone with things like " glue this bit to that bit and then attach it to"
So i think it will have to be more of a progress report than a build log.

You lucky boy Martin....a beautiful model kit, would be a shame to r/c it, looks much better as a static display sub, hope you will do a build log, would love to see that, as there's no way I can afford this kit!!!😐

U boat has to be one of my favourites, on a side note, I recently acquired the 1/72 Skipjack....will be set up for RC. Christmas present to myself.
