The windmills are they kits or scratch built. Were there plans for them if so where did you find. The reason I ask is I have a Stuart 10 horizontal engine I'd like to build and run a windmill at some of our shows .

Yes, waiting to see our projects on the water will be very nice. Since last fall there has been three boat builds come across my work bench.

Tried to post photos in order of text, but alas, the deck got shuffled.

Starting with Miss Katherine, a small tug seen at a boat yard in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Next, a Folksboat seen in a boatyard along the shore of Lake Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland.

Most recently the 1/35 Italeri Vosper MTB 77 RC conversion which is nearly complete.

Along the way in between the three boats there were three “weather vane” whirly gig style projects. Two were replica Dutch windmills, and the other an airplane for my grandsons.

Plus two plastic model cars...

Nice job. I think testing our boats is something we all look to do .See them on the water and make sure every thing is tip top .

Yes I think mine was certainly based on the swift boat. I think the ones in Brazil are a Swedish design with water jets. It's not a replica build in any way 👍

Nice boat - very well made for a scratch build - looks a bit similar to the US PCF "Swift" boat used in Vietnam.

I though you might like to see my latest build. It's a semi scratch built fast river patrol boat. I read that the Brazilian military use this kind of boat for anti pirate and drug smuggling patrol on the Amazon and other rivers. I changed the flat bottom hull to a V and put in a 1400kv brushless. The cabin and upper deck was changed to match pictures I had found and a few other changes. I've installed revolving radar, 50cal sound emitter, search light and pursuit lights. I had to put in quite a lot of ballast to get her to sit right. I won't know if sails right until the lake opens again, but I'm quite pleased with the results.
