Strange ESC.

Sounds right about it being suitable for the R/C car and semi-truck market as they all use 540 motors. My trucks have the sport-tuned 33t 540 Tamiya Motors in them👍👍👍

Strange ESC.

According to the blurb, they're for sensored brushless motors only or with brushed 540 or sport tuned (25T or higher) using 2 of the 3 motor wires (blue and yellow) and with the sensor wire removed. Apparently not recommended with LiPos, (can damage BEC) Guessing they are for trucks/buggys etc.

Strange ESC.

This could be for the buggy and truck boys!
Being a truck builder as well the Tamiya Control system Coded MFC are all for brushed motors and there have been calls for a brushless control from Tamiya to suit

Strange ESC.

Well Martin, we all are still learning, I saw these on the web but I'm a one type man myself, but could be useful. Made by Tamiya so could be good.
Cheers Colin.

If it looks right it probably is.

Strange ESC.

Thought some might be interested in this ESC. It is programmable for both brushed and brushless motors. Note the picture. Two leads from the motor, three from the ESC. Never heard of this before.
I cannot promise to finish one project before starting another. I know, I tried.
