Huntsman rescue

Yes tested with all linkages removed first JUST IN CASE, Then as you see in pics, the speed controller is surprisingly smooth considering its age and the fact that it has been stored for about 40 years. The motor is marked up to be 6 Volt, free run 0.9amps, Stall load 7 amps. its fused at 5 amps. the receiver runs on 4 AA's and the rest runs from a 6 Volt 7ah SLA.

Here are the internal shots of Huntsman showing the electrics layout. The receiver and Servos go together with the transmitter, (still in original box). The speed controller is labeled SPEED KING, Don't know anything about it, other than its working via a servo. So any technical details would be appreciated. As would any instructions for transmitter leaflet or downloadable, Have tried Sanwa direct but no response as yet (its only been a week, they're probably still laughing at my request.

Huntsman rescue

Just rescued this nice model from about mid 60's,
It was scratch built from ply and balsa and Is 35 Inches long. Fitted with SANWA 27Mhz R/c system. Originally ran on 6 volt lead acid battery, have still to check out electrics but servo's are free and work fully, will put more pictures as soon as I can take some. The only major problem found are cracks In the paintwork along most of the joints so will need to rub back and reseal and paint.
