Hi hmsnostalgia.

Agreed...they're a nice addition.
I wonder what other changes are yet to be implemented?

Either way it's that time of year that I make my contribution to the site running costs and I think this time I'll do a 'Subscription' to show my appreciation for all of Stephens efforts.

I noticed the 'eye/dots & the' views' count yesterday Robbob and was going to ask about them, I think they are a nice added touch !!. 👍

Update.

The 'eyes' emoji works fine on my Kindle tablet.

I have discovered that on my PC the 'two small dots' are actually just very small 'eye' emojis and by adjusting the 'Chromoji' plugin settings in my Chrome browser I can change the style and size of emojis and the new settings improve the legibility of the emojis. 👀 👍😁

Yes...following 'eyes' would be spooky 👁👁😮
The eyes change to dots on my PC (Win 10 using Google Chrome browser) but
stay OK on my smartphone (Samsung (Andriod) with Google browser.
Later I'll check what happens on my Kindle Fire HD (Andriod) & Amazon Silk browser.

I've not seen the eyes change to dots either. That's spooky! Although it's when they start looking around and following you that you have to worry!

I've just noticed a new 'views' counter on blog pages and forum postings which is quite a nice addition.
Curiously the 'views' text is preceded by a pair of 'looking eyes' icon very briefly before reverting to just a pair of dots for some reason.
Anyone else noticed this happening?
Otherwise a neat improvement to the site by Stephen (Fireboat) our genial host👍😁👍
