Wanted Clyde Puffer Parts

Dave,

Thanks for confirming a 1:32 scale I have since been looking for 1:32 fittings sets for a Clyde Puffer - no luck yet however quite a number of suppliers sell individual parts

please has any one a list of parts or what a set of fittings for a Clyde Puffer (any scale as I can change list) - better of course if list gives specific part numbers for 1:32 scale.
(I can photocopy/scan list and would appreciate if attached in an email)

If this is the 24" model in your harbour I would expect some 1:32 scale fittings would be about the correct size. Mobile Marine web site have pics of the fittings.
There was usually a single mast with a boom used for off loading the cargo from the hold to the beach. A simple winch at the front was used to do the heavy work.
A ladder and dingy were often carried and the cabin probably had an H shaped flue for the galley stove. Probably lots of clutter on the decks as they were working boats.
Several of our members have modelled Puffers in various scales and I am attaching some photos which may help you detail your model.

A lot depends on the scale you are looking for, but there did used to be a guy up Aberdeen way, believe its "clyde model boats" or something similar, he does a fair bit of stuff for Scottish craft, he might be able to assist.
