model identification

I need to correct my post. The hull is not a MicroGlass hull. Theirs was 1/32 scale. That said, Dynamic models made a 1/24th hull, and that goes back man years. that company has , as well, been bought by LoyalHanna Dockyard.
Sorry for the previous misinformation.

Probably a Microglass hull. One of he best such hull production companies in the US until the owner passed away. I believe the hulls are now "produced" by Loyalhanna Dockyard, which also own Tubman plans now.

Im pretty sure its a Point Class US Coastguard cutter 82ft long Im guessing the model is 41 inches making it 1:24 scale. There used to be a company in new york who made the mouldings but Im sure they have gone now. The plans are available from TaubmanPlans.com in the US They have a great internet site. Best of luck its a great looking boat when complete.

Perhaps the start of an RN 'Bird class' patrol boat or Norwegian 'Snogg Class' ? Stepped deck is unusual.
